Ranveer Singh's new found music label has grabbed the attention of a famed music composer and the actor can't contain his excitement about it!
Ranveer Singh recently surprised everyone with the announcement of his independent music record label IncInk. Ranveer has teamed up with filmmaker Navzar Eranee to launch the label. Post the success of his latest film Gully Boy, the actor was keen to change to the music scenario by supporting new artists. Ranveer even took to social media to share the news. He has collaborated with rappers Kaam Bhaari, Slow Cheeta and Spitfire for the music venture. Calling the label as his "passion project", the 33-year-old wrote: "My passion project. A manifestation of a certain vibe. IncInk is an independent record label formed by artistes for artistes to discover, nurture and promote exciting talents from across India."
Well, little did he expect that he would soon be piquing the interest of India's musical maestro, A R Rahman. The composer replied to Ranveer's announcement saying, "Am coming next week to sign up." Well, it is not every day that an Academy Award-winning composer shows his support to a new venture and naturally Ranveer was thrilled to get such a response from the composer. Given Ranveer's love for the theatrics, he replied Rahman with a video of himself jumping on the bed like a child. Well, we can totally imagine how excited Ranveer must be. It will be an opportunity of his lifetime for his new found label to collaborate with Rahman and bring forth some interesting work. Ranveer Singh Launches Independent Music Label ‘IncInk’.
Ranveer's label will be initially releasing some rap music. "We are first starting with launching some really raw, immensely talented, new rap and hip-hop artists who we believe will be the next superstars of the scene. Rap and hip-hop are the biggest thing happening in Indian music today," Ranveer said in a statement.
