Deepika Padukone celebrates her birthday on January 5 and earlier today, we saw the birthday girl jetting off to a special location for a celebration on the big day with husband Ranveer Singh. The couple were spotted at Mumbai airport and even cut a cake with one of the members of the paparazzi while Ranveer was seen singing "Baar Baar Din Yeh Aye" in the video. The actor has now also taken to Instagram to share a cute post wishing his wife and we are in love with his choice of the picture. Ranveer decided to treat us with a childhood picture of Deepika that is beyond cute and wrote one of the cutest messages along with it. Sharing the adorable snap where Deepika is seen looking like a total cutie pie, he wrote, "Happy Birthday to my Lil’ Marshmallow." The photo is now receiving a lot of love from Deepika's fans who can't get enough of her chubby cheeks in this one. Not just fans, the picture has also left other celebrities speechless and actors such as Mouni Roy, Bipasha Basu among others commented on it with the heart-eye emoji. Even though Ranveer's post may have come a tad little late in the day, it was totally worth the wait.

On the work front, Deepika has currently been busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Chhapaak and recently also celebrated her birthday with the media. The actress will be seen essaying the role of an acid attack survivor in the film. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is all set to hit the screens on January 10 and will be clashing with Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
