Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt might once again play a couple after Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The duo has already won hearts with their cute chemistry in the ads of a travel website. Now, it seems they will reunite for Karan Johar’s next venture which is about a tale of two brothers, as reported in Koimoi.com. What’s more interesting is that Kareena Kapoor Khan will be roped in as Ranveer’s sister!

KJo was apparently hunting for a younger brother to the Padmaavat actor and Ranbir Kapoor was his initial choice. However, RK who earlier said yes to the project, reportedly changed his mind later. A source told the entertainment portal, “Karan earlier wanted Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play brothers but Ranbir turned it down later. He had said yes first but then he changed his mind. Karan doesn’t know if he changed his mind because it’s a negative role or because he doesn’t want to do a two-hero film with Ranveer.”

“Most heroes don’t want to do a two-hero film, so he is having a problem casting that role. Karan wants somebody younger than Ranveer, so he can’t even approach other big actors,” added the source. Now, that the Sanju actor has backed out of the project, another name that is in the buzz is that of Varun Dhawan. In fact, Alia and her icon Kareena have already liked the concept as per reports.

If Alia, Kareena, Ranveer and Varun Dhawan reunite for a Dharma film, we can surely expect some fireworks on the screen. With such an amazing mixture of talent and glamour in one frame, KJo is on the way to his next blockbuster already.
