No, we are not kidding. But there is a catch. The project will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who is the maker of movies like Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan. The project is being backed by YRF. But the project is NOT a full-fledged superhero film, but an advertisement for the noodle brand that Ranveer endorses. We can almost hear your heartbreak. But c'mon, this is better than no superhero movie, starring Ranveer Singh, set in space. Right?
The announcement of the project was made by the writer, Ashish Patil, on his Twitter handle. He shared a concept art of the project, in which a man can be seen looking out the window of a spaceship. "A hero will rise", reads the caption on the picture.

Earlier while promoting Hindi dubbed version of Deadpool 2, Ranveer had said, "I have been exploring various superhero subjects for a while now. Of course, none of them have materialised just yet. But I don't think we are very far from seeing a true blue Indian superhero. There are some really interesting characters."
"Hopefully, not very long from now, we will see a bonafide superhero, a big ticket, big screen bonanza that is truly Indian, "Ranveer concluded.
