No matter how many days pass, Padmaavat is always going to be one of the best films that happened to us and Ranveer Singh's career this year. His portrayal of Alauddin Khilji won a lot of hearts and impressed critics, too. We still can't forget how devious and wicked he looked and acted in the film. Since the movie completes 75 days now, Ranveer shared a video of his first look test as Khilji. In fact, the actor's performance was so good that Ranveer will be given the Dadasaheb Phalke award for Best Actor. Not that it came as a surprise to us.

Padmaavat has been very close to Ranveer's heart and he has given his soul to the film. The actor got really emotional when the movie and its trailer got such a wonderful response from the audience. Ranveer earlier shared the making video of his songs in the film, Binte Dil and Khalibali, he has performed exceptionally well in both the songs. In this video that Ranveer shared, he speaks about how he would keep making evil faces and laughs while he was prepping up to look like Khilji. He would literally get into the character right from when the makeup for the shoot would start.
