The success of Gully Boy has been truly amazing as the film has been receiving immense love from the film fraternity as well as the audiences. It rarely happens when a filmmaker or an actor's contemporaries go out of the way to praise each other's work but with Gully Boy, there has been no second opinion and it is receiving love from every corner. After Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi, it has been Gully Boy Ranveer's Singh's turn to receive the coveted note of appreciation from Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

From rapping like a pro to getting the accent right, Ranveer Singh gave it all for the Zoya Akhtar film and has now been receiving praises from one and all. Ranveer has been on a spree of hits and has been giving back-to-back solid performances. In December 2018, the actor made everyone love Simmba and now 2019 seems to have taken an even better start for Singh. This is also not the first time Ranveer has received a token of appreciation from Mr Bachchan. Previously, the actor received a handwritten note for his performance as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat. The actor had then posted saying, "Mujhe mera award mil gaya."

Looks like Ranveer's next big hit is not too far away as the actor has now been prepping for Kabir Khan's next titled '83 which will recreate the story of India's first ever World Cup win. Ranveer will be playing the role of Kapil Dev.
