Now Ranveer has dropped another surprise on us, with the latest picture that he posted on his Twitter and Instagram timeline. And like you can see he has donned some sort of superhero suit in the picture.

So is Ranveer Singh walking in the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff and play a lead in a superhero film? Ranveer isn't telling us anything, with the only caption he has put up in the picture being, "Coming Soon". So what to make of this? Earlier, Ranveer Singh has confessed that he has interest in playing a superhero in a movie, so did he get his chance?

However, eagle-eyed fans of the actor quickly found out that it is not for a movie, or even for a song in his upcoming movie, Simmba. In fact, he is shooting for an ad for his Gunday director Ali Abbas Zafar, with the director's latest Insta story giving out a big hint on this. Check out the weapon in his hand which is exactly what Ranveer is holding.

Busy with his upcoming SalmanKhan-Priyanka Chopra-starrer, Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar has taken some time out of his schedule for what it looks like a fun ad with Ranveer Singh. Earlier Ranveer Singh appeared as a Mad Max-like character for an ad for a noodle brand, that was directed by Rohit Shetty.
