Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's Simmba Not Likely to Release in 2018?

There is quite a possibility that Simmba, his film with Rohit Shetty, will not make it to this year.

Ranveer Singh in Simmba

Blame it on his recent shoulder injury! There is quite a possibility that Simmba, his film with Rohit Shetty, will not make it to this year. The movie marks the first full-length feature film collaboration of the Singham director and Ranveer. They had earlier worked together for a short film that worked as an advertisement for a noodle and sauce brand. Sara Ali Khan is the female lead in the movie.

Coming back to Ranveer's injury, he was supposed to start shooting for Simmba from May. But with the injury, the injury has been postponed to June, which makes it quite difficult for the movie to meet its December 28 release date. So there is a high possibility that the movie's release date might be pushed to next year. However, there is no official confirmation on this. Simmba is produced by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty, and is the official remake of the Telugu hit Temper.

However, for all those who were waiting to see Sara Ali Khan making her debut on the big screen this year, there is no reason to be disappointed. Her actual debut, Kedarnath, has cleared all its legal hassles and will make it to the screens this year itself, that too, a couple of weeks before its supposed release date (December 21). It is now releasing on November 30. Kedarnath is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and has Sushant Singh Rajput as the male lead.
