And here's the first look of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan from Simmba! Filmmakers Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are seen striking a pose with Sara and Ranveer as they kickstart shooting for the film today. Wearing a crop top and a lehenga paired with a denim jacket, we quite like Sara's desi avatar! As far as Ranveer Singh is concerned, he looks every bit of the notorious cop that he's gonna play in the film.

They are expected to begin shooting in Hyderabad today and Rohit Shetty took to social media to share this pic from the sets of Simmba. "The #Simmba journey begins... @ranveersingh #SaraAliKhan @karanjohar @reliance.entertainment @dharmamovies @rohitshettypicturez @simmbathefilm," he captioned the pic.

Talking about his first ever collaboration with Rohit Shetty,  Ranveer had earlier said, "Simmba is my first collaboration with Rohit Shetty which I know people are really excited about and me more than anyone to be diving into the masala genre with king of the genre." Interacting with the media, Ranveer unveiled Carrera eyewear's #DriveYourStory campaign and premiered a short film based on his life's journey on Wednesday in Mumbai. Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, also stars Sonu Sood.
