Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan to Flirt in Simmba on 90s Remake Song ‘Ladka Aankh Maare’

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's Simmba is here to entertain us soon. Rohit Shetty will helm this action packed movie that is a Hindi remake of South film Temper. The cop avatar of Singh is making the right noise all over. Now as Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara is entering the showbiz industry, the movie is creating the right amount of curiosity. Now, as per the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the flick will have another remake of 90s popular song. It will be 'Ladka Aankh Maare' from 'Tere Mere Sapne'. The duo will step into the shoes of Arshad Warsi and Simran who made this popular a superhit in 90s.

A source told the tabloid,“The song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi who has been working on the new version since the past few months. It has new beats to appeal to the Gen X but the fun element is intact, which was Rohit’s brief." The source further added, "In Simmba, Ranveer and Sara’s characters will be seen teasing and flirting with each other."

Last two years have been the years of remakes of popular cult songs from the last generation. Tamma Tamma, Humma Humma, Laila, Rashke Qamar, Laila, Saara Zamana, Keh Doon Tumhe and more to this list, were attempted by various music directors. Although, we all are guilty of grooving to these remakes in the clubs, we still wonder why this trend has erupted out of no where. Nonetheless, it will be a bliss to watch Ranveer and Sara's bonding on the silver screen.
