Unlike their wedding in the distant locale of Lake Como, Italy, this one did not demand us to wait till eternity. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh ensured that they don't make things difficult for the media anymore, in their homeland at least. The Bengaluru chapter of their much talked about  wedding is equally interesting and royal. The reception is held predominantly for Deepika's family back home.

As we know that both Deepika and Ranveer's Shaadi has happened both the Konkani as indeed by Sindhi rituals in Italy. The Bengaluru chapter will have the quintessential South Indian touch to it. But for now, we are concentrating on the occasion on hand. After making a starry entry at the reception venue, Deepika and Ranveer posed happily for the cameras. We have already informed you that Deepika is wearing a gorgeous golden saree gifted to her by her mother, while Ranveer is wearing a black and golden sherwani designed by Rohit Bal. The two are sparkling thanks to the drama created by their respective outfits. But what shines brightest here is the unmistakable glow on the newly wed's faces. The smiles are warm and welcoming indeed!

It would be pertinent to note that Today's reception by Deepika and Ranveer is for close members of the Padukone family in Bengaluru. Since Deepika's father Prakash Padukone is one the most influential and celebrated sportsperson of the city, we expect some famous sportsmen to make the cut. Deepika and Ranveer will host the second reception for their Bollywood friends and well-wishers in Mumbai on December 1.
