Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been in an open relationship for a while and they are taking it 'slow'. The two have been flying off to places to spend time with each other apart from the time they spend on the sets of their upcoming film Brahmastra. Therefore, fans were curious to know how the newbies will ring in their Christmas this year. However, RK will not spend 25th January with girlfriend Alia but with his Shamshera co-star Vaani Kapoor. The Sanju actor will be next seen in Karan Malhotra's flick Shamshera which also stars the Befikre actress. As reported in DNA, both Vaani and Ranbir will not get a holiday on Christmas as they will be busy in the shoot. A source told the publication, "The entire crew have found a great rhythm and they are working at great pace to finish the schedule as planned."

"The gigantic set that has been created for Ranbir will also need to be altered for the second schedule. So, the entire crew is working on a tight deadline to wrap the shoot and then start construction for the second schedule. Ranbir and Vaani are the two primary cast members who will not get a break on December 25,” added the source.

The film is set in the heartland of India and will be set in the era of 1800. The story revolves around a dacoit tribe who strive for their own rights and also fight against the British to do so. It also stars Sanjay Dutt in a crucial role. The film is slated to release on July 31, as of now.
