Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra is one of the most awaited projects of next year. Of course, the fact that this real-life jodi will star in reel life for the first time is a major reason but even the movie is making noise for other right reasons. It's a trilogy that Ayan Mukherjee always had in his mind and he's eager to present his vision to audiences. The talented young director is pulling out all stops to achieve desired results and has no qualms if the project gets delayed to accomplish perfection. Why are we talking about a delay? Well, 'cos Brahmastra's release date has now been pushed to Christmas 2019. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Put On Their Party Shoes As They Shoot for Brahmastra – View Pic.

Karan Johar, who's producing this great project that also stars Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Dimple Kapadia in the lead roles took to his Twitter account to share this big news. The film was earlier slated to release on August 15, 2019, and clash with Rajkummar Rao's Made in China and John Abraham's Batla House. However, with its new release date, we hope it will enjoy a solo release and end the coming year with a bang. A powerful true story of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams, on an unheard of mission to achieve the impossible. #MissionMangal will come alive on 15th August, 2019. See you at the theaters. @foxstarhindi

We wonder if Karan's decision to delay his project's release was made keeping Akshay Kumar in mind. The Gold actor recently tweeted his next project, Mission Mangal, to be his next Independence Day release and that made all his fans jump with joy. We bet RK Jr was unwilling to clash with Khiladi of Bollywood and postponing his film's release date seemed like a wise option. Akshay's Mission Mangal will now clash with Rajkummar's Made in China and John's Batla House. Though there are high chances that these movies will end up releasing on different dates.
