Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, who are gearing up for their upcoming release on September 28, 2018, are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film Sui Dhaaga – Made in India. After Akshay Kumar, who started the #PadManChallenge in order to promote his film , Varun and Anushka too are following the footsteps of the PadMan actor. The actors are making the most of social media I must say. They recently started the #suidhaagachallenge; Varun and Anushka called upon their B-town friends to join the #suidhaagachallenge by posting a video, showing how quickly they can thread a needle.

While Alia, who not only accepted but also won the challenge, further challenged her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and best friend Karan Johar. She took to Instagram to post the video and wrote, "Here goes the Sui Dhaga challenge!!! Too much fun.. I shall further nominate my dear dear @karanjohar and I shall give him an additional challenge of making Ranbir do it too 😬😬😬🙌@varundvn @anushkasharma All the best for the film guys can’t wait to see it ❤️❤️"

When most actors take their own sweet time, Ranbir and Karan was quick to respond to Alia's Instagram post. Karan Johar took to the micro-blogging site to share the video, but looks like something went wrong that the Producer deleted it within hours of posting it. However, we are lucky that Ranbir's fans managed to retweet the video. In the video, we see Karan is struggling to thread a needle, while Ranbir was successful in doing it within 10 seconds. The two further challenged the lovebirds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. So tell us who do you think will lose the challenge in the comment section below. #SuiDhaagaChallenge: Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma Nominate Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan to Take Up the Challenge – Watch Video

Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. Helmed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha’s Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaga is a story of a couple Mamta (played by Anushka) and Mauji (played by Varun), who stay in the heart of the rural homelands. The film is based on the Make in India campaign, and aims at promoting the country's indigenous textile industries.
