Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently shooting for their first film together, Brahmastra. The two actors are in Patna currently, from where the pictures from the sets have surfaced on the internet. The most recent ones show the two on a boat ride in the night. The movie is based on the mythological weapon known as the i, so we can assume that Ranbir and Alia's characters go to the holy city in search of it. Despite their casual outfits, the actors are looking great in the snaps. In one of the shots, you can see Ranbir and Alia hold hands, most probably to maintain balance. Brahmastra is Dharma Productions' biggest project yet; an intended fantasy trilogy. We are already impressed by the huge scale of the movie, which is evident from the many leaked set pictures. 'Brahmastra' Release Date Postponed, Won't Lock Horns with Dabangg.

Brahmastra is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, who has given hits like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Wake Up Sid with Ranbir in the past. The filmmaker has been working on the film for the past ten years, rewriting several drafts of it. Including one draft where Ranbir's character had long hair and was called Rumi. In the current draft, the lead character's name is Shiva. Brahmastra also stars Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles. It has been reported that Mouni will be playing the big baddie in the film.
