Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh to Star in a Family Dramedy Which Will Be Produced by John Abraham.

Rakul Preet Singh is busy juggling between two industries. On how she’s managing to pull off her work, Rakul told BT, “I am going crazy with the juggling act. In fact, people down South feel that I am not doing enough work there. If I am dividing my time between Hyderabad and Mumbai, I can’t take up four (South) films a year like before. I am still doing two Tamil films and one Telugu movie, running back and forth the entire time. It is back-breaking. Bollywood demands a lot of your time, and even when you are not shooting, you need to make your presence felt. In the South, your manager does the talking for you, but here, it’s critical to add a personal touch.” Jio MAMI Film Festival 2019: Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Rakul Preet Singh Grace the Red Carpet at the Closing Ceremony (View Pics).

The Gorgeous Actress, Rakul

When Rakul Preet Singh was asked if socialising and attending parties helps actors to bag work in Bollywood, she responded, “No, that’s not what I meant. In Bollywood, it’s more about the personal touch you have with people, you reach out yourself for the kind of films you want to be a part of. Also, let me tell you, nobody is going to give you work just because you attended a party. It helps to touch base with everyone, but only good work begets more work.”

Rakul Preet Singh has two Tamil projects in her kitty – SK14 in which she is sharing screen space with Sivakarthikeyan and Indian 2 that is helmed by S Shankar. Her next Bollywood project with Arjun Kapoor. It is a family dramedy in which she’ll be paired opposite Kapoor. The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Kaashvie Nair.
