Rajkummar Rao is right now the new hero of the Hindi film industry. Unlike the typical heroes that we saw until now, Rao is breaking the stereotypes with his unique antics. Naturally, that has landed him in a lot of projects, one of them being Chor Nikalke Bhaaga. The film that will be made by Amar Kaushik originally had Rajkummar and John Abraham in the lead. However, it turns out that John has been opted out while Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in, as per the reports in DNA.

Director Amar is already all set with his debut film ‘Stree’, a horror-comedy starring Rajkummar and Shraddha themselves. The trio might soon return with this thriller sans John Abraham.

However, the maker also clarifies that they will not reunite immediately but will do their own individual projects first. Speaking of this, Amar was quoted by the publication saying, “It won’t be my immediate next. Raj is the only person who has been retained because he liked the story and is keen on doing it. Also, after working with him on Stree, I have become quite comfortable with him.”

Also, not Shraddha, but Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia was reported to be the female Lead of the project. Quashing these rumors and explaining John’s exit, the maker said, “ Tamannaah was never offered the film. We had John on board, but he isn’t doing the movie anymore. Initially, I had approached John for the main role but when he read the script, he wanted to do the other role (of a cop) and also wanted to produce it. That’s when Raj was roped in to play the lead.”

Meanwhile, Rajkummar will be next seen in ‘Made In China’ and Shraddha is prepping up for her film ‘Saaho’ opposite Prabhas. Do you like Rajkummar and Shraddha’s pair? Tell us in the comments section below.
