Rajkummar Rao is snatching away all the good roles and we can’t even blame him! His stellar acting skills and ability to glide into any random character’s skin has given him benefit of grabbing all interesting scripts. He will be soon seen in a comedy film titled as ‘Made in China’ directed by Mikhil Musale and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Rao will be romancing Mouni Roy, the much-loved TV actress who has newly ventured into Bollywood space. The film is all about a Gujarat based struggling businessman who tries his luck in China with the support of his wife.
“Raj, who wants to give her (Mouni's character) the best, crosses the Great Wall hoping to become a successful entrepreneur. It’s the couple’s fascinating journey,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
On the other hand, Dinesh is quite impressed by the bong beauty and hence he decided to cast her as the lead role. He told the tabloid, “We wanted someone who’d connect with the heartland and Mouni, a typical Indian beauty, has a huge fan following. She has a strong personality but gentle eyes and is a good dancer which is essential for the role as her character has a passion for classical Indian dance having learnt it. She has started working on her Gujarati dialect."
The producer is super confident that Rao will get into the skin of the character whenever he starts prepping up for the film, courtesy: his ‘chameleon’ like skills! The flick will go on the floors in September this year, with its first schedule in Gujarat and the next one in China. Rao will be next seen in Atul Manjrekar’s 'Fanney Khan' and Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Mental Hai Kya' while Mouni is soon to be seen in ‘Gold’ and ‘Brahmastra’.
