Raid Box Office Collection Day 4: Ajay Devgn's Film See a Dip On Its First Monday, Collects Rs 47.27 Crore
Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who previously made Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar.
Will Raid become the third movie of 2018 to enter the Rs 100 crore club after Ranveer Singh's Padmaavat and Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety? That's the question on everyone's mind now. Ajay Devgn's latest movie, a period thriller that also stars Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz, has been enjoying a smooth ride at the box office, based on a good reaction from the audience. While it has an okay start on Friday, Raid enjoyed a really good weekend grossing more than Rs 40 crore within three days.
On its first Monday, the collections had dipped by half but still it has managed to collect a decent Rs 6.26 crore, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He tweeted, "#Raid is SUPER-STRONG on Mon... An indicator that the film will sustain very well on weekdays... Current trending suggests ₹ 64 cr [+/-] Week 1, which is EXCELLENT for a non-masala film... Fri 10.04 cr, Sat 13.86 cr, Sun 17.11 cr, Mon 6.26 cr. Total: ₹ 47.27 cr. India biz." Raid has been made on a budget of Rs 70 crore so it is yet to call the movie profitable, but going by its decent box office run, it seems an easy task.
Even overseas, Raid is having a good run.
Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who previously made Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar. Raid has already become the director's biggest hit of his career.
