Only a handful of celebrities have shown that they are against the act. Recently, a video of rapper Raftaar went viral on social media, which showed him supporting the Anti-CAA protests. In the video, the musician states that he is not bothered about what may happen to his career and said, "Whether they are Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, or Muslims, they are all our brothers, I will not let anyone be taken out of the country. In the same video, we can see Raftaar using an expletive even as the crowds cheered his statement on supporting the Anti-CAA protests. While netizens were impressed with the singer's bold statement and how rare it is for celebrities to take a stand like this, the rapper also received backlash for using a cuss word that is considered to be offensive towards women.

The rapper has now taken to Twitter to apologise for abusing on stage. Raftaar wrote, "Before everyone starts jumping in and fighting on who agrees or disagrees with me. I want to apologise for abusing on stage. That is something I shouldnt have done. Gaali dena aur ladki ki izzat karne me farq hai. Galat tab bhi hai. Uske liye maafi."
