Narendra Jha, the popular character artiste in quite a few Bollywood movies, passed away some time back while he was vacationing with his family. He was just 55. The acclaimed actor was vacationing with his family in his farmhouse in Wada, when he suffered from a massive heart attack, his third, and dasly left for his heavenly abode.
This is the third jolt Bollywood have suffered in the past one month, after the industry lost Sridevi and the veteran actress Shammi earlier. As per a report in Indian Wiki Media (IWMBuzz.com), a credible source told them, “Narendra Jha passed away at his farm house in Wada this morning at about 5 AM. He suffered a massive heart attack. This was the third attack that he has had over the years.”
Narendra Jha had done quite credible roles in both movies and television. However, it was his performance as Shahid Kapoor's father in haider, that made the industry truly recognise the potential in the actor. He also had important roles in movies like Ghayal Once Again, Mohenjo Daro, Kaabil and Raees. He was also a part of Prabhas' upcoming movie, Saaho.
As soon as the news broke, Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to mourn the loss of the actor. Hansal Mehta, Ekta Kapoor, Raees director Rahul Dholakia, Sonu Sood have taken to their the social networking site to offer their condolences.
