Marathi Mulgi Radhika Apte turns 33 today and wishes for Radhika have already started pouring in on her social media. From colleagues to friends to fans, everyone has taken to social media platforms to shower wishes on her special day. Meanwhile, the birthday girl, who is all set to make her foray in Hollywood with Michael Winterbottom’s The Wedding Guest alongside Slumdog Millionaire breakout star Dev Patel, took to Instagram to share a still with the filmmaker Michael on her special day. Radhika is one of Bollywood's most unconventional heroines of the recent times. The actress, with her out-of-the-box role choices and mind boggling performances, has made a name for herself in the industry, winning hearts of not just the audience but also the critics. Pune-born Radhika, who has worked in multiple language films — Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, was recently seen in Netflix's original series like Sacred Games and Ghoul. From critically acclaimed films to mainstream films like Akshay Kumar's PadMan, Radhika has left nothing to explore.
Radhika, who is known for her phenomenal performance in films such as Badlapur, Parched, Phobia, among others, is now an international star. Apart from Michael Winterbottom’s The Wedding Guest, the actress will also feature in producer-turned-director Lydia Dean’s untitled World War II spy drama, with Stana Katic and Sarah Megan Thomas. Speaking of doing an international fil, Radhika, who has already began shooting for the spy drama, had said, "My desire was not just to do a Hollywood film but to do an international film. My desire was to do world cinema. I want to be able to do cinema in any language and do something I am capable or suitable to do. I don’t want to restrict myself to just one kind of cinema."

On the professional front, Radhika Apte will be next seen in Nikkhil Advani produced 'Baazaar' opposite Saif Ali Khan. She will also be seen with Ayushmann Khurrana in Andhadhun, helmed by Sriram Raghavan. The upcoming mystery thriller is slated to release on October 5, 2018. Watch this space for further updates.
