So Salman Khan has turned lyricist with the new song in Race 3, called Selfish. So the song is about Salman Khan romancing Jacqueline Fernandez, who is later seen romancing a stone-faced Bobby Deol, who is later given the eye by Daisy Shah. Speaking of Daisy Shah, as if getting trolled for her atrocious dialogue, 'Our business is our business, none of your business', isn't enough, she is now made to lip-sync to Iulia Vantur's singing. Now Salman Khan's rumoured girlfriend might have the talent to croon, but her voice feels totally out of place in Selfish.

It also doesn't help that Bhai's lyrics feel like some student in 7th standard has written a poem to impress his Hindi teacher but ends up being thrown out of the class. Considering this was the song's biggest USP, Selfish turns out to be a disappointment. Or not, since it lives upto the absurdity of the trailer. And these are not just our sentiments only. Many of the listeners have baulked over the new song from Race 3, and took to Twitter to share their views on this.

It's not that the song is a complete disaster. The music by Vishal Mishra is good, and Atif Aslam has sung his part well. Hope the rest of the songs are fine!

Race 3, directed by Remo D'Souza, also stars Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem. The movie is scheduled to release on June 15.
