Salman Khan starrer Race 3 is all about guns, shirtless men and a few twists and turns. Well, this formula has paid well off for Remo D’Souza. The film, despite getting mocked on Twitter by critics and fans, is minting impressive money at the ticket windows. On the first very day, the third installment of Race franchise has collected whopping Rs 29.17 crore which every bhai fan will be proud of.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Race3 records a GIGANTIC START, despite pre-Eid making a dent in its business... Emerges the BIGGEST OPENER of 2018 [so far]... Fri ₹ 29.17 cr. India biz... With #Eid festivities commencing today [Sat], #Race3 is expected to post MASSIVE NUMBERS.” The biggest film of Eid 2018 is going strong over the weekend and we will not be surprised if it enters the 100-crore club in just a week.

The previous installments helmed by director duo Abbas-Mustan, starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead, were loved by the audience for its major brain teaser scenes. However, with the change of the cast and the makers, the audience were left a bit disappointed, if we go by the Twitter reactions on the film.
