Raazi Trailer Video: Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal Will Leave you Highly Impressed in This Hard-Hitting Spy Thriller

The trailer of Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi just dropped by and we are left spell-bound!  Now, we have always known that Alia has a knack for characters that have different layers to it and that's exactly what her role as Sehmat in Raazi is all about. Raazi the film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. In the movie, Alia Bhatt plays a Kashmiri spy who is married to a Pakistani general during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.

The trailer starts with showing how Sehmat (Alia Bhatt) belongs to a 'normal' Indian family until one of her family members decide send her to Pakistan as a spy. Raazi is a story of Sehmat, a girl-next-door who turns into a courageous, brave woman. Vicky Kaushal, who plays her husband in the movie, too seems to have done a brilliant job. We don't think anyone else apart from Alia and Vicky could have fit the bill any better.

Earlier talking about working in her first period film, Alia Bhatt told in an event, “think in 'Raazi' audience will see me in completely different look, at least that is my wish because the film is very different. It's the first time I am doing a period film and is based on true story as well, so I am very excited for it and I hope audience will like it.” The movie is scheduled to release on June 1.
