Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi has hit the right chords with the audience. With perfect blend of patriotism and spy thriller, the film has managed to rule the box office of in this week as well. The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s book called ‘Calling Sehmat’ and as always content, more than the biggies, has proved to be stronger. On Day7, the second Friday, the movie raked in Rs 4.75 crore taking up the total to Rs 61.34 crore.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Raazi has a SUPER-STRONG second Fri... The trends are crystal clear: Expect SOLID GROWTH on Sat and Sun... Should cross ₹ 75 cr mark by Weekend 2... [Week 2] Fri 4.75 cr. Total: ₹ 61.34 cr. India biz.” The positive word mouth about this Meghna Gulzar directorial will surely pull more audience during the second weekend.

The 25-year-old actress earlier told Filmfare, “I was going through a unique time when I started shooting for Raazi. It was a new lonesome period. I had begun to enjoy my solitude. I kind of detached myself from the world. So much that I would leave my phone behind in my van. The film gave me a lot of silence and time with myself, which helped me grow.”

Alia will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is a trilogy themed on a sci-fi genre.
