Alia Bhatt's Raazi is a winner! The spy thriller has not only bowled over the critics, but is also winning over the audiences too. The modestly budgeted movie is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat and is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Raazi is about a young girl. who works as a spy for India, is married off to a Pakistani officer to leak military secrets during the onset of the 1971 war between India and Pakistan for the liberation of Bangladesh. Raazi is produced by Karan Johar and Junglee Pictures.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted out the latest figures for Raazi and it looks like the movie is impressing even in the weekdays. On Tuesday the movie had collected Rs 6.10 crore making a consistent run. This brings the total to Rs 45.34 crore for the domestic box office collections, quite impressive for a movie made reportedly on a budget of Rs 40 crore!

The critics are in awe of the movie. Check out what our review has to say about Raazi - "After October and 102 Not Out, it now feels like Bollywood is ready to take huge risks when it comes to mainstream cinema and focus more on the script than star-charisma. Raazi treads on the same path in giving us what could be the best mainstream movie of the year. Coupled up with Meghna Gulzar's assured direction and Alia Bhatt's brilliant performance, Raazi is a fantastic effort in good story-telling, as well as in paying tribute to those unsung heroes who have dedicated their lives for the safety of our country. A must watch indeed!" Raazi also stars Vick Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Soni Razdan and Rajit Kapur.
