The ghastly Pulwama terror attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir has the entire nation go wild with rage. The citizens as well as the Bollywood fraternity is boycotting the cultural exchange between India and Pakistan henceforth. However, Kangana Ranaut, who has been quite vocal on the entire episode from time to time, recently appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to scrap Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Pulwama Terror Attack: Kangana Ranaut Cancels Manikarnika Success Party, Says We Need to Take Decisive Actions Against Pakistan.
For those who are uninitiated about this particular article, Wikipedia describes this as, "Article 370 of the Indian constitution is an article that gives autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The article is drafted in Part XXI of the Constitution: Temporary, Transitional and Special Provisions."
Kangana has been constantly voicing her opinion on the attack carried out by Pakistan based terrorist outfit named Jaish-e-Mohammed, and the aftermath. Speaking with National Reporter, the actress said, "It is my sincere request to our prime minister (Narendra Modi) that Article 370 should be completely scrapped. I feel that after so many years of Independence, no state in our country should face confusion as to where they belong."
On the other hand, a report in Bollywood Hungama suggests that her last film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is running in the theatres of Pakistan. As per their survey, the film is being shown in selective theatres of Lahore, Islamabad, Gujranwala and Hyderabad. She also was recently at the war of words with actress Shabana Azmi and also went ahead and called her 'anti-national'. Well, we wonder what the PM has to say about the actress' suggestion to him?
