Priyanka Chopra did look like a princess when she stepped out to attend her bridal shower in NYC. The actress and her girl gang apparently shut down the Tiffany & Co store in the city for this happening party. Dressed in an off-shoulder Marchesa gown, PeeCee looked radiant on her special day and too excited to ring in the occasion. Unless you were living under a rock, you would know who Harvey Weinstein is really. The main accused of the #MeToo movement in Hollywood, Harvey, faced severe backlash when the victims came out to voice their anger against his sexual misconduct. His wife, Georgina, also a co-founder of Marchesa brand then decided to leave the accused in October 2017 after allegations against him were backed by many other victims. When PeeCee decided to pick her brand for her bridal shower outfit, the actress was criticised for supporting Harvey Weinstein in a way. However, the Quantico star believes her decision was a way of showing support. In her chat with Women's Wear Daily, she clarified her decision was a way to support his wife and not the accused himself. She said, "Georgina’s a friend of mine - and it’s not her fault. She further continued “I don’t think it is right to take it out on a self-made woman what somebody in her life did. That’s the wrong attitude. [And] that was a beautiful gown and deserved to be worn by a bride-to-be. It made me feel like a princess. Before PeeCee it was Scarlett Johansson who had earlier picked a Marchesa creation for 2018 MET Gala.  "I wore Marchesa because their clothes make women feel confident and beautiful and it is my pleasure to support a brand created by two incredibly talented and important female designers,” Scarlett said when asked to clarify her decision about supporting Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife.
