Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after actresses currently. From marking her presence in Hollywood and Bollywood with her acting prowess, she has now sharpened her skills on filmmaking aspects too. Apart from Bharat, she will be next seen in Shonali Bose directed ‘The Sky is Pink’. For this film, she will reportedly get her share of profit amount the movie collects, reports Mid-day. This will be for the first time that any female Bollywood star has asked for the share of profits as the norm had only male actors demanding it now. There is also a reason why PeeCee decided to take this step, read on!

A source told the tabloid, “Shonali Bose's film banks on Priyanka and Zaira Wasim, who plays her daughter in the movie. Priyanka understood that if she needed to make this venture feasible, she couldn't command her regular fee. In such a scenario, she thought it would be better to take a share of the film's spoils after it has done well.”

That’s thoughtful of the star! After all, every change starts with a small step and this step has been taken by the former Miss World already. Speaking of the film, it is based on a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who was born with an immune deficiency disorder. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and ‘Secret Superstar’ girl Zaira Wasim.

The film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala. However, it has not been decided yet what will be the profit cut for the actress. Sure, this will set as an example for other actresses. What are your thoughts?
