Recently in a media interaction, the actress revealed that she did not make the first move but Nick did. During the launch of bumble, in her interaction with Entertainment tonight, the actress said, "I actually didn't make the first move, He did. He texted me. The first time was a text just saying, 'I think we should connect' and whatever. That's how we started talking." The actress further added, "The cool thing about Bumble is for married women or engaged women (it's funny to see the way she says it). If you don’t want to be on the dating site, you can actually delete the dating site off of the app, you can just be on Bumble Biz and Bumble BFF, which is really cool."

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who first met at the annual Met Gala in 2017, formalised their relationship at a roka ceremony (in Mumbai) in August this year.
