A few days back the veteran actor announced on his Twitter page that he will be leaving the country indefinitely for medical treatment, followed by tweet asking fans to not worry. Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor is also visible in the picture, and her smile is the silver lining here. She looks quite happy, which can be fans' reassurance that all is well. On September 29, Rishi had tweeted, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon! [sic]"

On October 1, Rishi's mother Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away in Mumbai. Rishi was unable to attend the funeral as he was in New York. We hope he recovers his health as soon as possible and springs back into action.
