Priyanka Chopra Opts Out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangster Drama on Madame of Kamathipura After Bharat?
Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in only one Bollywood movie as of now which is Shonali Bose directed 'The Sky Is Pink'.
Priyanka Chopra has been totally engulfed in the projects in the west now. While the fans were very much excited to watch her sizzle on the silver screen again, that isn't happening as they expected definitely! Desi girl surely started with Salman Khan starrer Bharat but she opted out for the reasons, not mentioned officially. Now, turns out that she even opted out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much discussed gangster drama with PC in the lead. She was supposed to be seen as female gangster Gangubai Kothewali aka the Madame of Kamathipura in the flick. As per the reports in DNA, she gave away the project for her Hollywood flick 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' opposite with Chris Pratt.
“SLB was keen to make Gangubai with PC. But after she signed up for her next Hollywood film, Cowboy Ninja Viking opposite Chris Pratt, she’s not doing the gangster flick and he’s put off his plans of making it in the near future,” a source told DNA.
We all know that the Padmaavat director is a demanding maker when it comes to perfection and creating magnum opuses. He needs efforts, dedication and time of the stars, solely for himself when he is planning to create the magic on the silver screen. We don't complain as we do see the positive effect of it later on the screen.
Now that PC is rumored to get married to her American singer boyfriend Nick Jonas, it looks like she has her schedule all blocked with commitments. The kind of commitment Bhansali needs, the 35-year-old actress might not be able to provide it now! We hope that they collaborate with the same project later though!
She will be next seen in only one movie as of now which is Shonali Bose directed 'The Sky Is Pink'. The content-driven film has Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead.
