Oh boy! Priyanka Chopra courts not just one but two legitimate controversies as she married her American boyfriend, actor-singer Nick Jonas. The first controversy was when grand fireworks are lit after the couple tied the knot at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Rajasthan. Just a couple of weeks ago, Priyanka Chopra had been part of a social ad where she requested people not to burst crackers, as it would help 'asthmatics' like her. The second controversy arrived when pictures of the animals, an elephant and a horse, used during the wedding ceremony came out. This made PETA write a message for the couple on Twitter, " Dear @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Elephants for weddings live and chains and horses are controlled with whips, spiked bits. People are rejecting elephant rides and having horse-free weddings. Congrats, but we regret it was not a happy day for animals." That's not a happy, well-treated pachyderm! Not just PETA, even Bollywood fans are unhappy with Priyanka Chopra, and they have gone on Twitter to share their displeasure.

We are sure that Priyanka might have been very busy with the festivities and might have overlooked these. But as an actress who likes to walk the talk, she should have made sure that her grand wedding avoided the use of fireworks and animals. What say, readers?
