The biggest news of the day for all entertainment fans has been the engagement ceremony of Priyanka Chopra and her America fiance, singer-actor Nick Jonas. The roka ceremony happened on the morning of August 18, at Priyanka Chopra's house with a pooja for the couple. Priyanka also posted a few pictures from the ceremony on her Insta timeline, including some lovey-dovey snaps with Jonas.

Among the guests present was, of course, actress Parineeti Chopra, who is Priyanka's cousin. Later taking to Insta, Parineeti shared a lovely picture of hers hugging Priyanka, accompanied by an equally lovely caption. With the post, we also came to know that she called PeeCee her 'Mimi didi'. Parineeti wrote, "Today I witnessed magic and a fairytale ... When we were kids, mimi didi and I used to play “ghar ghar”. We would pretend to be shy brides, have imaginary children, and serve tea to our husbands!  cheesy, but its because we always believed in the magic of love and hoped we would both find that perfect man for us one day!! Today there was no pretending. (sic)"

For her future jijaji, she added, "I cant think of a more a perfect man for her. Like I said this morning, there are two ways of judging a human being. One - travel with them, and two, eat with them. Nick, I have done both with you. And so I know you’re perfect for her!! Love her, because she loves you like mad! Protect her, because shes strong, but a soft soul inside. I love you both and wish you all the happiness forever!!!!! HAPPY ROKA AND FUTURE WEDDING!!" (sic). Here's her Insta post -

Parineeti Chopra was also a part of Priyanka and Nick's Goa trip that happened a couple of months back. She is currently shooting for Namaste England, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (both co-starring Arjun Kapoor) and Jabariya Jodi (co-starring Sidharth Malhotra).
