The festival of Karwa Chauth which is particularly celebrated by married ladies by observing a fast for the long life of their husband and eternal togetherness was celebrated on October 17 this year. It was an even more special occasion for Priyanka Chora Jonas considering this was her first Karwa Chauth. After tying the knot with Nick Jonas in December 2018, the actress was celebrating her first Karwa Chauth this year. Priyanka took to Instagram to share pictures from her prep for Karwa Chauth and was seen wearing the sindoor (vermillion) and red bangles. She had also applied Henna or Mehendi on her hands which she had captioned as "DIY Henna in LA". PC finally shared a picture from the celebrations and was seen wearing a gorgeous saree for the special occasion. She wrote, "Karwa Chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I’ll always remember!" Nick too shared a post on Instagram, praising PeeCee for teaching him about her culture, he wrote,"My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!"
