Priyanka Chopra Gets Trolled for Visiting Children in Rohingya Refugee Camp and We Fail to Understand WHY!
Priyanka Chopra gets targeted for bizarre reasons!
Priyanka Chopra is known for her contribution, not only in the showbiz industry but also in the social work. Continuing with her UNICEF trips, the actress recently visited Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh’s Cox's Bazar as a global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. She has been keeping us updated with her journey and the moments at these camps which are truly heart-warming. While PeeCee has been constantly emphasizing on the fact that the world needs to unite and heal, some of them are just too close-minded to get the whole point.
Priyanka posts pictures and videos where she interacts with the kids and makes them understand the value of education and awareness. However, these things offended some of the trolls, simply because the kids were not ‘Indian’. They slammed the former Miss World for helping out these kids and even for posting pictures! Check out their bizarre mentality!
In one of her posts, she shared the kind of lifestyle these little kids are forced to live. She wrote, “Many of them made their journey on foot, walking for days through the hills, then floating across the Naf River or the Bay of Bengal on make shift boats...many of them injured, pregnant, elderly, etc. Their ordeal didn’t end here...after entering Bangladesh, they would often have to wait for days, sleeping in the open fields with no food or water, for aid workers to reach them. With your help, maybe these children can have a chance at a future...because right now, their future is bleak. The world needs to care. We need to care.”
Despite her appeal for a noble cause, which not just a celeb but anyone can offer to do, she has been targeted once again! What are your thoughts? Post them in the comments section below.
