If you thought Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas would be getting married by the end of this year, you are in for sheer disappointment! It is definitely not 'chat mangni, patt vyah,' for Priyanka and her fiance Nick Jonas, who got engaged in a traditional roka ceremony in Mumbai last weekend.
In an interview with DNA, PeeCee's mother, Madhu Chopra revealed that the couple is in no rush to tie the knot and as of now, the duo has work commitments that they're focusing on. "They haven’t decided on a wedding date yet. It’s too soon. These are just baseless rumours. Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it."
Further, talking about her future son-in-law, Nick, Madhu was all praise as she said, “I always trust Priyanka’s judgment; she’s not impulsive. She gave it a lot of thought and when she decided on something, I was sure it would be good. Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!” That's awesome, isn't it?
On the work front, Priyanka has resumed work on her next Bollywood movie, The Sky Is Pink and Nick is back to America and will soon launch his next album.
