Priyaank Sharma and Shaza Morani's pre-wedding festivities are in full swing in the Maldives. The couple who had a registered marriage earlier were gearing up for a traditional Hindu wedding in Mumbai. However, sadly, the latest we hear is that the marriage which was supposed to take place on March 5, has been postponed to a later date. As per a report in the Times of India, the extravagant affair has been pushed due to this reason. Reportedly, the guestlist of Priyaank-Shaza's Mumbai wedding included a total of 250 people. And owing to the spike in the number of novel coronavirus cases in Maharashtra, the State has lessened the number of guests allowed to a wedding to 50 from 250. That's one of the major reasons why the families of both decided to postpone the wedding.

"There has been a resurgence of Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra and the rules have brought the otherwise permissible limit of 250 individuals to 50 again. In view of this, the Sharmas and Moranis will have the Hindu wedding done soon but at a later date. The Maldives festivities were a pre-wedding celebration to the Hindu wedding which was meant to follow four days from now," a source told the portal. Meanwhile, at the pre-wedding festivities on the island, close ones to the families are present namely Shraddha Kapoor along with her rumoured boyfriend Rohan Shrestha, Zoa Morani, Siddhanth Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Shivangi Kolhapure and more.
