Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar have found Ranveer Singh’s leading lady in Simmba and it is none other than Sara Ali Khan! Karan took to social media to make the BIG announcement about Sara being paired opposite RS in the Rohit Shetty directorial. Now, for all those who have been following the film, would know that Priya Prakash Varrier and Janhvi Kapoor’s names were being considered for the role. Now, we are more than happy that Sara has bagged the opportunity and we bet she and Ranveer will set the screens on fire with their crackling chemistry. But we must admit, we would love to see RS with Janhvi and Priya Prakash both!
Considering that the two young ladies are powerhouses of talent, we bet both of them would have fit the bill. Also, if you go to see, Ranveer and Janhvi’s pair would have looked refreshing onscreen. While Priya too had recently expressed the desire to work with Ranveer Singh in Bollywood, this would have been just the perfect opportunity for her to debut in the Hindi film industry.
Talking about Simmba, the first look poster was out a couple of months back and we loved every bit of it! Ranveer Singh is, for the first time, stepping into the shoes of a mischievous cop and we cannot wait for the film to hit the movie screens.
