Trolls had a field day slamming Preity Zinta for her glaring error today. Yes, even a co-owner of an IPL team can make cricket related blunders and should not be spared; at least that's what Twitterati feels. As India beat Australia in a test series after a long wait of 71 years, congratulatory messages were showered on the men in white. While celebs like Anushka Sharma, Abhishek Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor were quick to cheer for Team India, Preity Zinta too wanted to share her thoughts on the same. However, what she didn't know was a difference between Test match and Test series! Virat Kohli Gets a Tight Hug From Proud Wifey Anushka Sharma as He Wins India vs Australia 2018-19 Series at Sydney (View Pics).
There were two glaring errors in Preity's tweet. One was tagging players as boys in blue (test match uniform is white) and second was her congratulatory message for winning a test match down under. Twitter users were quick to troll the actress and help her rectify her big mistake(s). The impact of trolls was so much so that she had to delete her tweet eventually. We were smart enough to take a screen grab of her tweet that's placed right below. Sourav Ganguly Congratulates Team India for Heroic 2–1 Test Series Victory in Australia, Plays Down Comparison With 2003–04 Team Under His Captaincy!
And another correction, boys are not in blue (this is not one day series), they are in white 😊

Anushka Sharma was the happiest person on the Earth today as Virat Kohli became the first Indian and Asian captain to win a Test series in Australia. And while the entire nation was congratulating Team India for this historic win, Preity fell a victim to trolls. Nonetheless, there's always a new day and we hope history doesn't repeat itself in her case.
