Pooja Hegde to Star in a Tomb Raider-Inspired Film, Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala

Pooja Hegde made her big Bollywood debut with the handsome ‘Greek God’ of the Entertainment industry, Hrithik Roshan, in Mohenjo Daro. The actor has made quite a mark in the South film industry and established herself as a quintessential artist. With the gorgeous looks and dreamy eyes, the actor has also garnered a huge fan base in the Hindi Cinema. She is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Maharshi opposite Mahesh Babu, which is making a buzz across the quarters. According to a report published in PinkVilla, “For the first time, Pooja will be seen stepping out of her comfort zone and will be seen performing some cool action moves in the film.” “The movie that Pooja is apparently going to start work on is said to be loosely based on the Hollywood fantasy thriller, Tomb Raider (2001) starring Angelina Jolie in the lead role,” the report further states.
Talking about her upcoming film Maharshi, the Telugu-language film also stars Sonal Chauhan and Meenakshi Dixit in pivotal roles. There are also reports stating that this film would be released in Hindi as well under the banners of Excel Entertainment Production. Maharshi is produced under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema, is all set to hit the theatres on May 9.
