The second song from Omung Kumar's PM Narendra Modi biopic has been released by the makers now. The song titled "Hindustani" is a revamped version of Salman Khan's song "Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo" from the 1997 unfinished film Dus. The song featuring Vivek Oberoi in the role of Prime Minister Modi shows his journey through various stages and his 'Nation first' attitude is hinted at by scenes of him holding the tricolor of India. The song which was originally composed by Shankar Shankar Ehsaan Loy has been remixed by composers Shashi – Khushi and the track has been crooned by Shashi Suman.
Recently, the makers of the film landed in a song credits row after, lyricist Javed Akhtar expressed his shock over being credited for lyrics in the film. It was later clarified by producer Sandip Ssingh that it was because the makers have included "Ishwar Allah" from 1947: Earth, which was written by Akhtar in their film and that T-Series being their music partner have provided the rights.
