Ever since the announcement of the biopic on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was announced, it has been one of the most talked about films. Early on, we found out that actor Vivek Oberoi will be playing the lead role and post his first look was released, not many very convinced with the casting. As the trailer of the film was released yesterday, is now being widely discussed by Twitterati. The film directed by Omung Kumar shows PM Narendra Modi's journey from being a common man to becoming the Prime Minister of India.
Other important characters such as BJP President Amit Shah played by Manoj Joshi and Ratan Tata played by Boman Irani also make an appearance in the trailer. While much of the film's tone is meant to keep Modi's character in a positive light, Twitterati can't move over the casting flaws than the content. Well, the film's trailer hasn't received a positive response over Twitter and only time will tell if the film's pushing propaganda or re-telling a true story of the Prime Minister . Apart from the lead cast, actors Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Gupta Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar will be seen in supporting roles in the film. PM Narendra Modi is all set to hit the screens on 12th April 2019.
