The makers of PM Narendra Modi biopic have revealed the latest song from the film, called "Namo Namo". Interestingly, last year, another film, Kedarnath, also had a track called "Namo Namo" which was a devotional song on Lord Shiva. In case you are really clueless as to why this track is called "Namo Namo", well, that's the nickname Modi's fans have given him lovingly. Interestingly, it is producer Sandip Ssingh who has sung the track, with rap by Parry G. "Namo Namo" is composed by Hitesh Modak. The song, written Lavraj and Parry G, is all about showering praises for Narendra Modi, on how he is the craze of the nation and that no one is in the race with him when it comes to popularity. In other news, the Opposition has filed a complaint with the Election Commission that the film is a propaganda vehicle for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). After EC issued a show cause notice to the producers, they, along with lead actor Vivek Oberoi, met with EC. Ssingh later told IANS, "Political parties wanted us to postpone or should not release the film either. We have submitted papers with the proof and documents that it's nothing like that. There should not be a political agenda behind this. There should be a reason if the movie's release has to be shifted from April 5 to any other date. Now they will get back to us." PM Narendra Modi, directed by Omung Kumar, is scheduled to release on April 5, while the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections will begin from April 11.
