Vivek Oberoi starrer film PM Narendra Modi is in constant controversies since it's announcement. The film based on the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is being called out for its 'release timing'. The film is scheduled to release on April 11, the same day when the Lok Sabha 2019 elections will take place. However, amid all these rows, producer Anand Pandit is quite affirmative about the film's release across the globe! The team of PM Narendra Modi is planning to release the film in 38 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the UAE, said the producer as per the reports in IANS. These countries mentioned above have substantial Indian audience and the release might help them a bit to mint the money at the ticket windows beyond the borders.

Meanwhile, there was a heavy demand on postponing the film beyond the date of elections. However, it turned out that it is not only scheduled to release on the day of elections, but also got cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). In fact, CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi was also accused of giving preferential treatment to the flick. This resulted in The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) demanding his resignation from the film body. These and more controversies have surrounded the film already and it has to be seen what more hurdles are in store for the makers. The film is directed by Mary Kom film fame Omung Kumar.
