We bet the trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's upcoming film, Photograph already impressed you. The film's plot interesting is hard to miss and now the makers have released the first song too. The popular Shammi Kapoor song, "Tumne Mujhe Dekha" from Teesri Manzil has been used in Photograph. With the current trend of remixing and reprising songs, this move by director Ritesh Batra comes as a breath of fresh air to maintain the original song as is for his film.
In the song, we see Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra's budding connection. The song fits the situation well as we see Nawaz and Sanya's characters spending time with each other. Sung by Mohammed Rafi and composed by R.D. Burman, this song was first originally featured in the 1966 film Teesri Manzil. Photograph revolves around an unlikely romance between the Nawaz and Sanya's characters. Set in Dharavi, Mumbai, where Nawaz is essaying the character of Photographer and Sanya Malhotra is seen playing the role of an introverted college girl.
