Ayushmann Khurrana, along with sailing high on the success boat of recent box-office hits, has also managed to win hearts and respect from his millions of fans for being an ideal husband to his wife Tahira Kashyap. Tahira was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Yesterday, she took to her social media accounts to share a strong motivational message on the World Cancer Day. The Badhaai Ho actor also saluted his wife’s strength and courage in fighting the illness. However, in a recent interview, Tahira revealed the lowest phase of her marriage with Ayushmann.  Monday Motivation: Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Shayrana' Tweets Inspire Faith In Life!

In a recent interview, the actor-producer opened up about the time when their relationship was hanging the lowest, owing to her insecurities. She exclaimed it to be the ‘most difficult chapter’ in their lives. She allegedly confessed that during the release of Ayushmann’s debut film Vicky Donor, she was a crazy, insecure and pregnant person, which led to becoming the worst phase in their marriage. The young stars were immature then and Tahira even felt like a whale. The insecurity bundled up, considering her husband is with beautiful women all around and it only increases when you do not come from a similar background. The writer-director asserted that one has the maturity to understand the passion towards art, but it also goes for a toll when the frills tag along with it.

Tahira also revealed that she was lost at that point in time, but given the fact that she had known Ayushmann for the past nine-ten years before marriage really helped. She knew that her husband was not a bad guy and so at the end, it all sustained and they made peace with it.

This is what Tahira Kashyap shared on World Cancer Day 2019:

Today is my day! Wish you all a happy #worldcancerday and hope each one of us celebrates this day in an embracing way. That we remove any stigma or taboo associated with it. That we spread awareness about it and that we have self love no matter what. I truly embrace all my scars as they are my badges of honour. There is nothing known as perfect. Happiness lies in truly accepting yourself. This was a tough one for me. But this picture was my decision as I want to celebrate not the disease but the spirit with which I endured. To quote my mentor, Diasaku Ikeda, “Leading an undefeated life is eternal victory. Not being defeated, never giving up, is actually a greater victory than winning, not being defeated means having the courage to rise to the challenge. However many times we’re knocked down, the important thing is we keep getting up and taking one step-even a half step- forward” #worldcancerday #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerwarrior #turningkarmaintomission #boddhisatva Thanks @atulkasbekar for this one❤️

Both his films managed to not only impress the audience and critics alike, but also emerged as two of the biggest hits of 2018.
