Earlier in the day, former Bigg Boss contestant, Payal Rohatgi penned a letter to Home Minister, Amit Shah, after Mumbai Police had blocked her on Twitter. The actress had earlier tweeted to Mumbai Police describing Ajaz Khan's derogatory video that was targeted at her. According to her post, he also called her by abusive names and spoke about Islam. The intention behind tagging Mumbai Police was for them to take strict action against him. Payal Rohatgi Pens an Email to BJP President Amit Shah After Mumbai Police Block Her Twitter Account - Read Tweet.

However, she was appalled to realise that instead of taking any action or reacting to her tweet, Mumbai Police had instead blocked her from their Twitter page. This prompted her to write a letter to Amit Shah, Maharastra CM, Devendra Fadnavis and his wife, Amruta Fadnavis. When Mumbai Police became aware of this situation, they instantly replied to her tweet saying that they cannot block any Twitter user's account as it's against their policy. They further assured her that it was a technical error and their team was looking into it. Payal Rohatgi Apologises after a Controversial Statement on Chatrapati Shivaji Results in Severe Political Backlash - Watch Video.

Meanwhile, Amruta Fadnavis too has asked Mumbai Police to correct the error from their end as a citizen should not be blocked by public entities/organisations. The matter will be hopefully solved in the next couple of hours and we are glad for her query was finally answered.
