The upcoming rom-com Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film of same name. Starring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, this film is directed by Mudassar Aziz. On November 3 Kartik Aaryan shared a video in which he shared a sketch of his character, Chintu Tyagi. Well, the wait has been worth the while! In this trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh you’ll see how Chintu is juggling between his ‘patni’ Vedika and ‘woh’ Tapasya. It might look as a clichéd love angle, but the catchy one-liners and chemistry of the trio will keep you engaged. Comparing with the original film director Mudassar Aziz told Mid-Day, “Modern-day relationships are based on different value systems. Hence, we turned things around on the concept level itself and re-wrote the plot. Our film shares nothing with the original other than its title and logline.” He also stated, “This film, in a light-hearted manner, analyses what makes people stray.” The 1978 movie was directed by BR Chopra and it featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead. The remake which is produced under the banner of T-Series and B.R. Studios, is all set to hit the silver screens on December 6.
